Pasquale Scaturro is an exploration geologist and geophysicist in worldwide oil and gas exploration and development. He has over 30 years experience in providing a full range of geological, geophysical, and operational services to the domestic and international oil and gas exploration and development industry. His major areas of expertise include complete geologic and geophysical project management, detailed prospect and field evaluation, interpretation and generation, international data capture and conversion, GIS and data base design, 2D/3D seismic data program design, parameter selection, acquisition, processing, and interpretation. Pasquale has extensive experience in seismic field testing and quality control, processing quality control, workstation interpretation of seismic data, mapping, and presentation of final stratigraphic and structural interpretations, His international experience includes numerous projects in Africa, Russia and other FSU countries, Asia, South America and the Middle East.

Pasquale is currently the owner of Exploration Specialists, Inc. (ESI Corp) of Denver, Colorado, and specializes in all facets of project development, organization and management in international and domestic oil and gas exploration and development. Recent project areas include Turkey, Israel, Siberia, republic of Georgia, Azerbaijan, Iraq, Pakistan, Ethiopia, and Guinea.

He has extensive experience in African countries including Ethiopia, Somalia, Tunisia, Namibia, Guinea and Sudan where he has been responsible for managing all phases of comprehensive exploration programs for a number of oil and gas companies, including Maxus Energy Corporation, Deminex, Arco, Hunt Oil and others. His experience includes PSA/PSC contract negotiation, data capture, seismic program design, and field acquisition of exploration data including seismic, geologic uphole programs, gravity and magnetics surveys, GPS surveys, soil geochemical surveys, and complete in-field data processing.

Previously, Pasquale served as chief geophysicist for Frontera Resources of Houston, Texas and was responsible for assisting in the awarding of on-shore oil and gas exploration blocks, database and GIS creation, 2-D and 3-D seismic acquisition, processing, interpretation, mapping, and final oil field development in the Caucasus and Caspian regions of Georgia and Azerbaijan. He acquired the first onshore 3-D seismic programs ever shot in the Republic of Georgia and Azerbaijan.

In 1994 Pasquale co-founded Tricon Geophysics, Inc., an independent seismic processing, imaging and reservoir services company with its headquarters in Denver, and offices in Houston, Caracas and Bogota. Tricon enjoys a solid industry reputation, specializing in state-of-the-art seismic data processing, modeling, pre-stack depth migration, and interpretation of high-resolution 3-D seismic data. In 1988 Pasquale also founded US Seismic, Inc., a full service geophysical seismic data acquisition company that has served the mid-continental United States.

He is the co-founder of Seismic Specialists, Inc., for the purpose of acquiring non-exclusive seismic data for the oil and gas industry. The company owns and licenses three regional seismic databases located in the Illinois Basin, Michigan Basin, and Paradox Basin. These seismic grids are considered by industry experts to be among the highest quality regional databases currently available.
